LOGISTICS ANALYST

Our awesome client, a leading merchandising company based in US is looking for a Logistics Analyst to be part of their finance team.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?

Analyze shipping costs vs. revenue to ensure profitabilitySafeguard key data entry points for freight rating & quoting to ensure profitability – weights, tables, rating logicIdentify issues that could cause margin erosion and help create policies to eliminate those issues Sort through large data sets to identify patterns and relationships that can help solve problemsCollect and interpret data, identify issues, and prepare recommendations to save the company time and moneyPrepare monthly logistics reportsCollect data to support carrier performanceCollaborate with other departments to assure procedures are being followed that affect freight profitabilityHandle projects & business analysis as assigned by the Logistics ManagerAs needed --- Act as liaison between internal and external customers with freight carriers, suppliers, and our DC’s. Ensures on-time delivery to customers, by investigating and resolving issues. This may include setting up shipments, quoting shipments and processing invoices through finance.
