Job Summary:Plan, direct and coordinate activities concerned with constructing structures, facilities, and systems. Manage the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation. Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for setting periodic targets or milestones or formulating work plans or strategies to meet targets to satisfy the contract requirements;Consolidate, review, analyzes, and monitors methodology, work plan, project budget, and contract management;Checking and inspection of works in progress concerning required availability of logistics quality and completion parameters;Conducts a regular meeting with subordinates to determine if the actual works comply with the agreed schedule and methodology;Reports regularly to management regarding the status of the project and for any instructions orders or policies management wants to implement;Reports to the pertinent management issues, concerns, and updates on progress;Responsible for preparation of the final report, highlighting the actual cost as compared to the original project budget;Review of previous performance in comparison with the present job and budgetary restrictions;Validates compliance to contract specifications/budget as stipulated in the contract agreement;Monitors progress of works as required by the contract;Represents the company in meetings with the owner, other contractors, and other parties involved with the project;Review and coordinate with designers/consultants for clarifications;Responsible for initiating preparation of the project turnover and reconciliation of all accounts collectible for the project;Training, review, and appraisal of performances of subordinates;Training and grooming staff engineers; andReview safety and other concerns of the project support group.Qualifications:Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.Required language(s): EnglishAt least 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Required Skill(s): Interior Fit-outPreferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.Preferably a local resident of Bohol.
