The Finance Manager is responsible for all areas relating to Finance including Insurer Accounting, Payroll, Accounting, Reporting and Analysis, Budgeting and Cashflow management.Manage and build current Finance team into a great Finance function.The role will report to the Financial Controller in Australia.Responsibilities-Accounting for Insurance Premiums. This includes:Insurer payments and attending to insurer queriesClient refundsSubagents paymentsStamp duty returns and paymentsTrust Account bank reconciliationTax returns for Overseas InsurersAny CBS Accounting queries-Oversee and manage the payroll function with the current Senior Accountant.Ensure accurate record keeping of all supporting documentation for payrollEmployee Pays are processed accurately and by the required deadlinesReview accuracy of incentives calculations and paymentsAll statutory returns are lodged/paid by the required deadline (this includes superannuation, payroll tax, workcover, IAS and PAYG)Payroll incluging leave provisions reconciled monthly-Ensure accuracy of all General Ledger tasks performed by the current offshore team:Oversee GL maintenance for all consolidated entities.
