The Category Manager will be responsible for driving, developing and carrying out a game-changing category strategy in support of Human Nature’s sales and advocacy goals. You must be able to :
Understand the business environment, the co
nsumer and the products you are handling in order to catalyze timely, insightful marketing strategy and plans to achieve category business objectives.Effectively collaborate with different teams (R&D, supply chain, retail channels, marketing support teams) in effectively implementing the category strategy
Responsibilities:
1) Drive the marketing strategy and plans for categories assigned:
a) Chart out a cohesive and committed marketing strategy for the category which will help achieve business and advocacy objectives
b) Spot opportunities for the category in order to build new business
c) Have a good understanding of the consumer and competitive landscape to map out compelling positioning for the category
2) Conceptualize and craft insightful marketing briefs for your respective category in alignment with the strategy
3) Collaborate and bring out the best from internal partners in order to deliver excellent and timely work
4) Champion category advocacy
5) Ensure truthfulness and integrity of claims, messages
6) Measure and assess activities in order to chart success, learn and re-calibrate

With minimum 5 years experience in brand/category management for FMCG;Has handled launch plans for new products and effectively managed in-line productsShould be able to demo
