Sales Engineer
Job Description
Sales Engineer are to:
1) Closely work with the end customer and channel partners to create and close sales opportunities,
2) Technical and solution sales
3) System solution presentation,
4) System Configuration and solution proposals
5) New potential accounts and channel partners development
6) Sales Support. The role will also support the Country/Sales Manager for EnerSys Energy System vertical markets.
Principal Responsibilities are to:
Achieve/exceeded yearly Sales Plans.
· Identify and acquire leads, project opportunities, and key customers through all doable approaches including call calls. Generate customer’s interest and demand in Energy System products under Telecom, Broadband, Industrial, Renewable, and Data Center (TBIRD).
· Spec-in Energy System Solutions in customer designs.
· Identify new applications and new customers to apply to EnerSys ES product portfolio.
· Provide Application Engineering to customer requirements on projects, customer and EnerSys Energy System vertical markets.
· Propose Technical configuration and solutions from a technical perspective.
· Identify and acquire new channel partners.
· Improve support to partners from Sales, Marketing, AE, and products perspectives.
· Identify new market segments from the existing EnerSys Energy System product portfolio.
· Introduce new products and solutions, and enhance EnerSys product portfolio to expand SAM.
· Prepare and submit weekly sales report and monthly LoB Report.
Submit market analysis reports regarding competitor activity, potential opportunities and market trends;Identification and generation of new leads, opportunities, and new applications leading to a co
ncrete pipeline.
· Monitor and improve sales performance with a systematic reporting structure.
· Improve forecast accuracy and ensure on-time booking.
· Leverage internal and external resources to improve effective sales processes.
· Coordinate with the sales supporting team for pricing and shipping matters.
Job Qualification:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably in electronics or electrical engineering.
· 2 - 3 years’ Experience in sales and technology field (Power Electronics, AC and DC Power systems, and Batteries)
· Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
Ability to follow through and a fast learner
· Local market knowledge in Telecom, Broadband and Industrial Market
