Job Summary
The incumbent is responsible for proposing and establishing an appropriate training culture to ensure organizational commitment to its people by ensuring appropriate levels of skills, knowledge and competence in order to achieve highest levels of Owner and Management Team satisfaction and its employee morale thereby maximizing organizational profitability and achieving organization’s vision. In collaboration with the AVP-HR, the TM Head supports the company business plan by implementing company programs and action plans at a branch level and to develop HR Land Department as a business partner in achieving the company’s overall strategic business objectives.
LEARNING & GROWTH PERSPECTIVE:
1. Ensures administration and maintenance of accurate training system, including:
1.1 Annual Training Plan and Budget
1.2 Monthly Training Plan and Report
1.3 Employee Training Record
1.4 Continuous Training Needs Analysis
2. Identifies and proposes appropriate Training and Development strategies to ensure lean and responsive organization, and Training and Development interventions to ensure the organization’s commitment to employee professional development.
3. Liaises regularly with the related practitioners and keeps being updated on Training & Development trends in the regions
4. Develops and recommends measures to study impact of training conducted.
5. Continuously updates and designs training modules to ensure it meets the identified needs.
6. Assesses and prepare training endorsement of eligible candidate for External Trainings.
7. Creates & manages the Employee Development Plan as a result of the PMS and the Career Discussion of those is the Succession Plan
8. Identifies and discussions talent with potential within the company.
9. Assist the AVP-HR in the implementation of the approved succession plan.
10. Assesses all candidates for L&D Programs in line with corporate guidelines.
PROCESS PERSPECTIVE:
1. Identifies, develops and defines training needs in order to keep enhancing the stakeholder satisfaction.
2. Monitors the inventory and maintenance of the Training Room, Training Aids, Equipment and Materials.
3. Contributes to the formulation and implementation of Training & Development policy and procedure in line with the hotel’s business strategy
4. Supports any change initiatives from a Training & Development perspective
CUSTOMER PERSPECTIVE:
1. Proposes and implements strategies to ensure a continuous improvement of employee’s knowledge, skills and attitude.
2. Ensures the hotel’s Departmental Trainers are carrying out their duties and responsibilities ensuring their maximum utilization whilst continuously developing their self-development as well.
3. Ensures the implementation of new employee induction program.
4. Provides Team Members with career counseling and advises.
FINANCIAL PERSPECTIVE:
1. Reviews and endorses for approval training request and ensure that this is within the Training Budget
2. Prepare monthly Training Expenses Training Budget
3. Monitor and control the HR Land Expenses by ensuring that activities are cost effective and within the approved budget.

7. The TM/ HR Land Head will have to perform other duties that may be required by management from time to time and is expected to be ready and responsible when assigned to other position as may be required by AVP for Human Resources.
Requirement:
> Must be a Bachelors Degree (BS Psychology, BS HRDM, or any relevant course)
> Must have have supervisory experience for at least 3 years
> At least 3 years experience in Learning and Development Function
