Main tasks and responsibilities
- Organizing basic QHSE activities like administration, instructions and supervision/control of HSSE related tasks.
- Achieving results by understanding the added value of our HSSE values and rules: a safe working environment.
- Leading by example: being a professional HSSE representative also for clients and stakeholders.
- Perform basic clerical functions at the project site, which includes filing, copying, data entry, typing and compiling reports.
- Assist in the administration of Health and Safety protocols in company project sites with adherence to Covid-19 protocols and internal workplace management plan
- Recording data and updating databases
- Preparation of TBT
- Printing and compiling packages and reports
- Regularly review the Project HSSE Plan and referenced procedures;
- Record, review and report the HSSE performances achieved on the Project;
- Monitor compliance with Sub Contractor Site Specific Safety Plan
- Performs all other necessary functions related to Health and Safety
- Inventory and assignment of Personal Protection Equipment
- Assist with claims and injury management, reporting to DOLE.
- Follow and be an advocate for all rules, policies, and procedures as per the client’s health and safety program, company specific SHE-Q program, and all other applicable legislation.
Required competences
- In possession of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- In possession of valid OHNAP certificate
- Candidate must be a Registered Nurse
- First Aid Trainer, accredited by Philippine Red Cross
- Two years’ work experience as an occupational health and safety nurse
- Assist during emergency response. Take care of the paperwork in the hospital
- Provision of Emergency medical care.
- Facilitate health records and monitoring.
- Undertake health awareness and training.
- Actively participate with HSE initiatives.
- Embrace Code Zero & ITA Values and Principles.
- Perform alcohol and drug testing.
- Develop and implement the health and well-being programs.
- Undertake site health inspections and audits.
- Participate with the medical staff team meetings.
- Participate with onsite operational meetings.
- Work closely with the site Doctor and supporting health care agencies.
- Maintain security of medicines and drugs stored in accordance with Rules.
- Maintain required medicines and drugs stock levels.
- Provide mandatory records and information for DOLE reporting.
- Maintain the health and hygiene standards of the medical centre.
- Implement COVID-19 monitoring plans.
- Support injury management and rehabilitation of injured workers.
- Willing to work in day and night shift.

- Strong grammar and spelling for reporting purposes
- Have a high level of attention to detail
