Job Description

The HR Service Desk Lead plays a key role in ensuring the smooth resolution of HR inquiries across Macquarie’s global employee base.

In this role,

You will be responsible in leading a team in terms of resolution on the following concerns: Preboarding (PageUp, Applicant queries, Referral), onboarding (Employment Screening, Mobility, Psych Assessment), Benefits, Data Management, Performance, Learning, HRIS, Payroll, Salary Packaging and Leave Management, Remuneration & Rewards, Reporting / Metrics, External clients (e.g., applicants, 3rd party, terminated employees etc.)Ensure assigned cases are responded to within defined SLA and with a high level of accuracy and customer support, Re-assign cases to Tier 2, process owner or alternate escalation as appropriate

Understanding of Macquarie Group policies and systems associated with specific job responsibilities;Leadership skillsAdheres to shifting scheduleStrong communication skills – verbal and written (in English);Problem solving skills and customer serviceStrong Microsoft Office skills – specifically Outlook, Excel and WordHigh attention to detail / accuracyAbility to adapt quickly and develop new knowledgeOperational excellence mindset; Good at managing tasks through to completionAbility to work autonomously on allocated tasks with the ability to escalate issues clearly and concisely where necessaryCollaborative, team-based work style and Relative experience on HR Service desk in a shared services or captive industry will be highly regarded but is not essential.
