Job Summary
The Compliance Officer is responsible in ensuring that the company is in full compliance with all applicable national laws and regulations that pertain to its particular industry, as well as professional standards and acceptable business practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
Implement and manage an effective compliance program.Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance co
ntrolMonitor compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies.Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues and recommend resolutions.Review company policies, marketing materials, presentations and websites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and docu
ments to identify possible weaknesses risk.Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliancePrepare and submit reports for Legal Co
nsultants and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or any related course.Proven experience as Compliance OfficerIn-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulatio
