JOB DETAILS
Job Purpose
• Responsible for accurate reporting and processing of financial/accounting transactions
• Coordinates with concerned parties (internally and externally) to enable the preparation and processing of accounting documents and payment requests. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES SUPPORTING INFORMATION
• Loan-Related
• Performs daily payments transaction processing such as but not limited to: - Resend failed disbursements due to technical issues - Change bank account details of client based on client’s request thru customer service team
• Checks loan releases and repayments • Daily and monthly reconciliation of loan issuances and repayments (between loan management system and payment & collection systems)
• Closing of loan balances of clients based on approved requests from collection and operations
• Process request for refund of overpayment of clients • Work closely with Customer Service to help them deal with difficult cases (e.g. make investigations in case of payment delays).
• Contributes to process improvements by adopting best current business practices.
• Reporting and documents Management
• Prepares necessary additional schedules and reports as requested by Finance hierarchy.
• Updates the assigned monitoring schedules.
• Others
• Takes on other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time and in the absence of other accounting officers.
