ROLE FUNCTION AND PURPOSE
• Champions and embeds strong Health practices to the organization to achieve safe, sustainable and reliable operations.
• Ensures compliance to all relevant Health requirements
• Implement a project “Construction Safety and Health Program” to the assigned project based on Philippine legal requirements and PMI EHS Management, Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.
• To provide functional support on all Health related matters to the project
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Facilitates project Health assessment processes and coordinates the review and updating of the project Health Assessment.
2. Review and assist the project site Pre-Employment Medical results requirements for Safety Orientation process and other project related Heath Program.
3. Coaches, mentors and serves as health adviser to the project management team on all Health matters.
4. Manages compliance to PMI Health requirements from sub-contractors and coop.
5. Ensures appropriate supplies (monitors only) of approved medicine are available at the project.
6. Identifies and coordinates project Health and Wellness training requirements.
7. Attends daily toolbox meetings and facilitates Health and Wellness program as required.
8. Acts as the key member of the EHS committee.
9. Performs as medical team leader or key member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
10. Maintains a close working relationship and effectively communicates with project ERT.
11. Timely notification of incidents to EHS Division and Operations Management, up through the EHS chain of command.
12. Administer first aid treatments and provide medications for employees as needed.
13. Assist all injured/sick employees to the nearest hospital/clinic
14. Provides appropriate notification, investigation, reporting and recording of all Health related incidents.
15. Manages the recording and retention of all project Health related documented information.
16. Participates in project management team meetings as required.
17. Any other responsibilities that may arise as instructed by direct supervisor or PMI Head Office.
18. Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Deep understanding of legal and health guidelines
• Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
• Graduate on Bachelors Science in Nursing with 2 years’ experience in construction health practices
• Registered Nurse with valid license and OHNAP training certificate holder
