Roles and Responsibilities:

Filing CPT/CDT Codes to medical insurance providersCheck the initial status of claims onlineDownload Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) online and check for denied claimsWork assigned accounts receivable or denied claims accountsGenerate aging report and explanation about denied claimsCreate charges and submit claims to the insurance company using athenahealthRequest authorization from the insurance companyInform patients about coverages and recommendationsCreate PR chargesCall the insurance company for further denial informationSubmit appeals for denied claims

Minimum Qualifications:

Background in the medical or healthcare industryMUST BE A GRADUATE OF ANY MEDICAL COURSEAt least 1 to 2 years of work experience as a Medical Biller or Medical CoderAbility to impact operations in a positive mannerDetail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitiveAbility to work alone and with othersExtremely organizedHas strong time management skillsCan START ASAP

Basic WFH Equipment Requirements:

Laptop or desktop computer that can run web browsing, spreadsheet, and communication softwareIntel i3 or AMD Ryzen 1300 processor (or equivalent)4GB RAMStable internet connection (preferably at least 5Mbps)Headset for video calls
