Graduate of BS Food TechWith or without experience in Research and DevelopmentWith creative and innovative personalityDetail-oriented

Duties and Responsibilities

Assists the Research and Development Officer in the development of new products, new processes, product and process innovations from conceptualization to implementation:

1. Conducts benchmark evaluation of various new products

2. Prepares product formulation for prototype samples

3. Prepares product formulation for costing

4. Initiates and facilitates in-house testing

5. Initially conduct equipment assessment and process flow establishment for new products

6. Prepares Formulation, Manufacturing Procedures and Product Specifications (FMPPS) of new products and new ingredients upon approval

7. Reviews and ensures the accurateness and implementation of product formulations upon factory trial runs

Assists the Project Officer in sourcing out suppliers of new ingredients and ensures that an evaluation report is duly accomplishedPrepares Raw Material Specification for newly approved ingredientsConducts supplier audit and assessment for new suppliersPrepares and collates documents required for application of Certificate of Product RegistrationProvides assistance to Sales and Marketing Export through filling out buyer’s questionnaireProvides assistance to the technical queries of the factories under manufacturing groupProvide recommendations for any experiments/ researches conducted for the purpose of improvement (g. cost reduction of ingredients and packaging).-
