JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily warehousing activities. The WS will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. The WS should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and increase the company’s overall market share.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring the quality of goods.Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees' performance.Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy.Communicate job expectations and coach employees.Determine staffing levels and assign workload.Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems.Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status.Identify areas of improvement and establish innovatively or adjust existing work procedures and practices.Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Preferably Supervisor/3 Yrs & Up Experienced Employee specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisorHighly effective supervisory skills and techniquesKnowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiencyAbility to input, retrieve and analyze dataHands-on commitment to getting the job doneExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to direct and coordinate operationsStrong organizational and time management skillsCandidate must be willing to undergo 3-4 months of training in Davao City.
