Job Description

1. JOB PURPOSE

This position is primarily responsible for implementing an effective customer driven logistics operations, delivery and shipping of the company products and materials on offshore and in-land.

2. JOB SCOPE

Major Responsibilities:

1. Schedule and dispatches deliveries of finished goods and/or pick-up of products and materials utilizing company trucks and accredited private haulers. Supervises loading operations of finished goods and materials at the plant and occasionally inspection at the pier. Monitors port/ pier / road situation and initiate possible alternative delivery.

2. Monitors the status and situation of trucks and vessels dispatched for pick-up delivery and stock transfer from point of origin to point of destination.

3. Recommends accreditation of private haulers that will haul or deliver finished products and materials to customers and to loading ports for offshore deliveries.

4. Initiates regular meeting with truck drivers and helpers to disseminate proper and appropriate handling and stocking of finished products at delivery sites, safety and respectful/ cordial dealings with customers.

5. Coordinates with maintenance for the proper upkeep of company trucks and handling equipment, gantry crane, forklifts and overhead crane. Reports any abnormalities and breakdown of the vehicles and equipment.

6. Coordinates and maintains effective feedback with concerned rollforming and sales/warehouses branches for status of stock transfers and conditions of materials.

7. Prepares and submits reports (transfer order and advise, toll outs, etc.)

8. Conducts plant and warehouse visits to assess quality systems and do safety observations

9. Supports and demonstrates ownership of health and safety in his/her own area of responsibility
