about The Role

Alley, a multi-award-winning digital marketing agency with operations in Australia , USA and the Philippines, is growing fast and looking for a passionate, high-performing Senior Paid Search Manager to lead the acceleration and growth of our business and clients. 

Reporting to the Head of Search & Programmatic, the Paid Search Associate Director will own the enterprise-level client search performance in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, supervision of an account team and development of strategic growth. 

This role encompasses ownership, autonomous decision-making and collaborative internal strategic planning to ensure, as a team and a company, we are continuing to grow. The Senior Paid Search Manager will own the performance, strategy and growth of multiple brands and accounts.

This role entails supervising and managing a team of paid search specialists to drive strategy, execution to drive performance and achieve client KPI targets. If you have a track record of leading and managing successful paid search strategies and accounts, then we’d love to talk to you.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Min. 5-7 years or more experience with Paid Search (Google Ads and Microsoft Ads)Experience managing Search, Discovery, YouTube, Display, PMax (optional) campaignsExperience with Google Ads Editor and Microsoft Ads Editor Experience and knowledge using Google Analytics to interpret data & insightsExperience managing multiple campaigns across several clientsExperience managing and optimizing medium to large spend accountsExperience working with financial data, forecasting and budgetsExperience supervising or managing a team of digital specialists/executivesProven track record running paid search campaigns at scale to achieve business growth goalsAbility to perform full account audits and recommend optimization strategies and suggestionsExperience and ability to write and review compelling and converting ad copy Up to date on the latest paid search features, strategies, technologies, update & Google offeringsStrong leadership and managerial experience, including experience developing and mentoring a teamAbility to think strategically and identify and resolve problems in a client-centric environmentExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven environmentProficient in Microsoft Excel and Office programsExcellent organizational and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsYou thrive in fast-paced environments and are ready to succeed

Optional Skills (preferred but not necessary):

1 year or more experience with Google SA360 (Search Ads 360) Forecasting paid search account performance and spendsConversion Tracking experience with Floodlight, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (especially Floodlight)Managing Google Shopping campaigns and product feed (Google Merchant Center) 

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate, oversee and mentor a team of paid search specialists to drive strategy, optimization, implementation and reporting (overlap with certain work hours in the US East Coast, EDT)Manage team operations & execution (campaign set up, processes, optimization, budget pacing)Monitor and ensure team and account processes are adhered toOversee team management, training and developmentThough you will work with specialists to execute, you will need to have the ability and skills to be able to make changes in the accounts when requiredOversee overall performance and KPIs across multiple brands and accounts. Monitor account profitability, reporting and forecasting Collaborate with other teams e.g. Performance, Social to align and achieve client’s holistic business goals
