EMAPTA is looking for a rockstar Resource Analyst to join its dynamic team!WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE? As a Resource Analyst you will work within the Finance team, while partnering with the Program Management Office (PMO) and technology leadership teams to develop a sound internal resource management function, developing analysis around complex resourcing solutions, with a continual focus on process improvements and analysis of relevant utilization and project labor reporting. The RA is curious about data, analysis, and continual innovation. They will enjoy collaborating with teams and enjoy the process of solving complex operational and human capital challenges. You shall be responsible for: · Imbedded within Finance and operations, partnering with the PMO to ensure open projects are staffed to maximize utilization and delivery timing.· Working directly with Finance to provide resourcing forecasting and provide insight and input into the capacity planning process and growth hiring plan· Working with the PMO and resource managers, assure resource assignments are complete for all projects· Work closely with leaders across the company to provide visibility to incoming and current projects, while forecasting the next wave of work with optimal resource levels· Prepare and analyze resource data to identify issues and trends and maintain a constant pulse on the current and future shortages and surpluses· Inspect timekeeping records for accuracy to ensure compliance with time entry process and governance standards· Develop strong relationships with leaders by providing excellent client service and being a subject matter expert in respect to workloads and resource alignment.· Develop standardized weekly and monthly reporting for business stakeholders highlighting utilization, bench, and skills in demand, etc.· Develop deep knowledge of the skills of the technical staff as well as the skills required by projects in order to staff appropriately in conjunction with the PMO.· Regularly meet with the PMO and technical teams to continuously understand their growth needs and workload demands as well as to set expectations re: project and skill demand and possible opportunities.· Identify project conflicts across portfolios and other workloads and identify alternatives to resolve conflicts.· Structure, manage, and successfully facilitate weekly resource status meetings, provide utilization reports to reflect current resourcing status in partnership with the PMO· Maintain the ServiceNow resource allocation and capacity planning dashboards as well as resource plans to record project assignments according to employee teams, knowledge, skills, and abilities· Assess near-term and longer-term needs to recommend resourcing priorities and inform staffing and/or hiring strategies You should have/be:Bachelor’s degree in related field.4 years’ experience managing resources, utilization or having a background in data mining and visualization (preferably within a Technology Managed Service environment)2 years experience in project management or project coordination is an advantageAlity to manage, educate, create, design, develop and consult with internal clients and teams.Ability to develop a solid understanding of the company’s business and operations as well as a basic understanding of finance, data, and resource forecasting vs. demandExcellent organizational skills, deadline-oriented and flexibility to meet changing needs of the role.Strong metrics-focus with ability to use analytics to solve problems and develop solutions.Ability to build rapport and gain the trust with all levels of personnelStrong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.Strong competency in core professional skills, especially attention to detail, responsiveness, follow through, flexibility, initiative, and tactStrong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks appropriatelyAbility to work both independently and collaboratively with various teamsProficiency with MS Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OutlookProven ability to contribute in a fast-paced environment consistently and positively.Aptitude to learn and leverage innovative technology.Proven ability to maintain confidentiality while balancing needs to business.
