Overall purpose, duties and responsibilities of the role:
Duties and Responsibilities:
· The Investment Operations Associate will be responsible for the day-to-day preparations of trade instructions to counterparties to facilitate investment related transactions.
· She/He will validate accuracy and keep records of investment transactions, which are inputs for Finance bookkeeping and recording.
· She/He will prepare or otherwise assist in preparing investment reports for Investment Management Head & other stakeholders.
· She/He will help in the User Acceptance Testing for the set up and maintenance of the investment management system.
As necessary, she/he will also provide back-up coverage for investment operations officer function.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
· University degree in Finance, Business & Accounting
· Professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or investments is a plus
· Minimum 2 years working experience in investment or accounting function
· Work experience in life insurance industry is a plus
· Good communication skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel
· Result-oriented, self-motivated organized
