Bachelors degree holder of Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or any related courseFresh graduates are accepted.Preferably Less than 1 year experience specialized in Actuarial Science/Statistics or equivalent.Attention to detailGood analytical skillsExcellent communication skillsResourceful, versatile, flexible and willing to work within constantly changing prioritiesJob Role: As Actuarial and Risk Management Specialist, you shall be in charge of implementing the defined plans and designed controls of your assigned tasks in accordance with the overall objectives and functions of the department. In so doing, you shall-- 1.1.Assist in the creation and maintenance of Claims Development Triangles for all the classes of Malayan Insurance Co., Inc. (MICO) and Tokio Marine Division (TMD). 1.2. Assist in the insurance policy reserving and preparation of Actuarial Valuation Reports of MICO and TMD using ResQ Professional Software, Excel and other insurance policy reserving software that may be acquired in the future 1.3.Undergo training for and study the actuarial calculation requirements of IFRS 17, and undergo training for the use of any IFRS 17 actuarial solution software that will be acquired by MICO before the year 2025, which is the implementation year of IFRS 17 in the Philippine insurance industry 1.4. Support MICO and TMD in the pricing of insurance products by developing technical rate calculators and models, conducting product reviews, doing sensitivity analyses, and other tasks associated with insurance product pricing 1.5.  Research on assigned actuarial projects and topics 1.6.  Provide technical assistance to the Department Head and Section Head 1.7. Provide support to the department through answering queries and requests 1.8. Support Finance, Financial Management and Controllership Departments in the preparation of financial reports and projections 1.9. Prepare for and sit in actuarial examinations required by the Actuarial Society of the Philippines 1.10. Provide support to other departments 1.11. Do other tasks that may be assigned by superior from time to time
