Summary:Provide general administrative assistance to Human Resources staff. Prepare and compose reports and correspondences as required. Coordinate and collaborate with HR staff within various concentrations to ensure efficiency and timely service to employees.Essential Duties &Responsibilities:Administrative support working closely with the MLBA directors in the entire process from start to finish.Prepare and track grant application submissionsMLBA outreach phone callsAttend and take notes at MLBA meetingsParticipate in vetting processProduce flyers and advertisements • Produce deck for calls and meetings, Executive Level and Local Chapters LevelAssist with creation of newsletters, website design and promotional eventsAssist in creation of additional chapters throughout the country and internationallyBanking Transaction – Check Preparation, Payment, EncashmentLiaison Officer – processing Business Permits and LicensesInternal Auditor Member – conducts Internal Audit to Local Chapters • Purchaser – purchasing items for MLBA e.g. Chapter Icon, Roll up Banners, coordinates with vendors and suppliers •Trainer – train new on board Local Chapter Board Member – Reconciler• Book Keeper, keeping all confidential documents, MLBA Legal documentsQualifications:At least 1 year of job-related experience preferred.Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office.Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Psychology or equivalent.
