CRUISE MANAGER

Responsible for: Cruise Operations - Crew and Ancillaries on assigned vessel

Reporting to: CEO and Operations Manager

Overall purpose of the job:

Prestige Cruises is a maritime transportation and tourism company based in Manila. It holds a Certificate of Public Convenience from the Maritime Industry Authority and accreditation from the Department of Tourism. For the last 20 years, Prestige Cruises has been operating Manila Bay Dinner Cruises, Corregidor Island Day Tours, Interisland cruise destination tours and vessel charters.

The Cruise Manager shall be assigned to supervision of the vessel which includes business management, marketing, planning and implementation of the cruise. He/she shall be the representative of the company in the operations of the ship assigned.

Main objectives:

·        Contribute in planning the cruise and activities for the vessel and liaise with managing entities, government authorities, travel agencies for marketing purposes

·        Promote the experience (via traditional sources and new technologies). This includes acquiring new clients and customers.

·        Organize and orient the crew and ancillaries with the goals and be able to deliver a great cruise experience.

·        Upgrade the quality of the ship, service and entire cruise experience.

·        Implement boat housekeeping rules in relation to health, safety and security on board.

·        Ensure that all communication, reporting and financial budgeting/monitoring requirements are fulfilled.

Qualifications

·        Must be a graduate College Graduate with course related in Business and/or Tourism.

·        Must have at least two (2) year job experience which includes marketing and operations.

·        Attentive to details, good team player and can work in flexible hours.

·        Willing to experience local travel aboard our vessels.

·        Good leadership skills and dedication to the job.
