I. Job Purpose
The Reporting and Compliance Officer is primarily responsible for coordinating all PEZA-related processes for and within the company and for carrying out different levels of compliance and reporting in accordance with PEZA rules and regulations.

III. Job Description
Coordinates the processes in completing the PEZA application and permits;Implements PEZA compliance processes, and docu
mentary requirements, and prepares reportorial requirements according to PEZA prescribed schedules;Implement tax laws and regulations applicable to PEZA-registered companies;Provides a high level of assistance to the immediate superior in ensuring accurate, complete, and timely preparation, filing, and payment of all corporate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and supporting schedules which include, among others, Income Tax, Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax, and other tax returns that may arise in the course of the business;Facilitates compliance in the annual, semi-annual, and quarterly reports/listing required by the BIR.Coordinates with other departments (Administration and HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations) for validation, streamlining, and compliance to PEZA;Coordinates with the BIR, government agencies, consultants, customers and vendors, and external auditors for tax-related issues;Assesses and recommends resolutions on issues related to tax with the aim of mitigating risks and optimizing incentives;Keeps self-updated with the relevant tax laws and regulations, especially those that affect PEZA-registered companies;Provides support in complying with the regulatory and reporting requirements of other government agencies such as the Security and Exchange Commission and the local government unit.Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior.
