DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Acknowledges and handles simple concerns regarding Security Change Requests across all IT and Network Infrastructure Changes implemented on Assets, Platforms, and Services, and ensures that all responses are handled within the committed SLA.
● Coordinates the execution of continuous vulnerability management activities such as vulnerability assessment, patch & remediation, for all active Change Cycle activities across all technical domains. Provides project proponents with high-level security requirements and guidance based on latest security standards, guidelines and threat models.
● Performs vulnerability assessments for any BAU or adhoc projects/initaitives where applicable or as needed.
● Monitors all change requests logged in backend repositories and ensures that all are being attended to.
● Updates and Maintains a comprehensive Security Change Management Inventory and Registry for documenting and tracking of all Changes that have undergone Security Review and Assessment, aligned with the overall Asset Inventory of Security Operations.
● Actively participates in the respective Change Advisory Boards of the different Technical Groups.
● Assesses and Authorizes/Approves change requests from end users on Security platforms (e.g FW Policy, SIEM deployments) as well as security defined controls (e.g. Local Admin, USB policy).
● document and Measure success metrics for all customer concerns, inquiries, consultations and change requests resolved successfully within defined service level agreements (SLA).
● Communicate identified security & privacy risks to internal stakeholders and end users within the business while supporting the response to addressing these risks.
REQUIREMENTS
A. Work Experience
● 1-3 years’ work experience in Telecom or IT (IT systems/networkadministration, preferably hands-on experience in Server Operating System (Windows, UNIX/Linux) or network devices; IT security systems administration (Firewall/VPN, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Antivirus/Anti-spam, URL filtering, Encryption, etc.), Network Design/Engineering/Operations/Service Management
● At least one-year work experience in any information Security related role or industry.
● 1-5 years’ experience in customer service such as contact center or helpdeskB. Level of Knowledge
● Graduate of any Computer Engineering, Computer science or IT- related courses (4-5 years course is a plus, but not required)
● Training in Information Security, ITSM, Project Management, Business Process Admin, customer service & Quality Assurance
● Strong knowledge of IT, operational, security and legal risk concepts; Change/Service management, vulnerability management and governance concepts; local and global industry standards and regulations in the domain of Security and data privacy, customer engagement and support
● Certification is a plus: CRMA, CISA, CISM/CISSP, ITIL, as well a plus for technical certifications such as CCSA/CCSE, CCNA/CCNP, MCSA/MCSE, RHCT/RHCE, CEH.
