AWS Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities:

Provide AWS Cloud technical and systems administration supportInvestigate, configure, and resolve complex infrastructure-related issues and document resolution stepsAutomate patching and maintenance of existing infrastructure including EC2 instances Tune and monitor applications, infrastructure and provide support during releases Create dashboards for application and infrastructure performance monitoring and alertingCreate dashboards for security and compliance non-conformance monitoringAddress vulnerabilities and non-compliance findingsCollaborate with DevOps team on CI/CD pipeline to deploy assets to the cloud (Infrastructure, security, and code)Create, maintain, and use scripts to automate tasksSupport the development of systems security documentation Improve security scan posture during CI/CD process with branching and tagging development/release process

Qualifications:

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience Advanced knowledge and working experience in AWS permissions are a must.Experience with AWS Systems Administration to support deployment and maintenance.Experience with application containerization platforms and registry e.g., Docker & ECRAWS Certification (preferred): Cloud Practitioner, Associate SysOps Administrator or Associate Developer, AWS Advanced Security Network skills to support Security Group management, VPN, and Direct Connect configurationBackground in at least one of the following scripting languages: Bash, Python, Lambda, Javascript, NodeJSExperience with configuration management tools and infrastructure/configuration as code (Ansible, Terraform)Excellent interpersonal communication skillsComfortable interacting across all levels within ITAble to prioritize effectively and manage expectations
