We are looking for Investor Communications Analysts to work on documents for our high-profile clients in the Philippines and in the US.
The core of what our team of analysts do is handling content, information and data of our clients. By that, we mean we either research, benchmark, analyze, collate, edit, write, compute, build or transform content and/or data.
The files we work on are later processed by our designers, layout specialists and proofreaders and become annual reports, meeting notices and sustainability reports.
The Investor Communications Analyst should be able to provide high-quality and timely assistance to clients in support of their reports. The successful candidates will be working closely with our design and content advisors based in the US.
Daily Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Data/content analysis: You are expected to review data and/or content and handle them according to requests received (e.g., computing data, building graphics out of that data or creating graphics based on content provided). In addition, you are expected to provide guidance to our team in the Philippines if and as they need our support in analyzing client requests.
· Copy preparation: based on requests, you are expected to build copies using client’s materials such as their previous reports, investor presentation decks, website, etc.
· Identifying content for graphical representation: You are expected to identify standard
content that can be turned/transformed into a graphic (typically into pie charts, bar charts, infographics, etc.).
· Restructuring/re-arranging files: Following written instructions set in what we call roadmaps, you are expected to rearrange content around a new report structure, which also involves copy preparation and identifying content for graphical representation.
· Coordination with internal resources: You are expected to collaborate with internal
resources in the Philippines (project managers, designers, layout specialists, proofreaders, among others) and in the US (project managers, design advisors, content advisors [some are attorneys and consultants]) to meet tight deadlines for our clients and execute their vision for their reports.
Skills, Qualifications and Attributes We Look For
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of Communication Arts, Communication Research, Journalism and similar
· Editorial or writing background preferably in publishing, advertising/consulting agency and related or comparable fields
· Relevant experience working in corporate communications, investor relations, corporate governance and compliance is an advantage
· Basic knowledge of corporate reporting (annual and quarterly reports, meeting notices, sustainability reports, etc.) is also an advantage
· High level of proficiency in MS Word and reasonable proficiency in MS Excel (basic calculations like averages, percentages, etc.) and MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of MS SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat is an advantage
· Passion for language and the accuracy, quality and effectiveness of its delivery
· Understanding of effective information design
· Extremely detail-oriented with a capacity to multi-task
· Excellent written and spoken English (you will be working almost entirely in American English)
· Keen sense of time and comfortable working in a deadline-oriented environment
· Willing to work on a shifting schedule
