Overview:
In the Jury Verdict Attorney Editor role, you will leverage your legal analytical and writing skills to summarize judicial documents pertaining to civil jury verdicts and settlements for use in Westlaw. Jury Verdict and Settlement Summaries is a key content set heavily used in litigation. Attorney Editors read, analyze, and interpret a variety of trial court documents to create premium and targeted summaries which allow our customers to make informed decisions regarding trial strategies and settlement discussions. Strong analytical and writing skills, as well as the ability to work independently, are necessary to maintain our world-class content.
about the Role:
Provide legal interpretation through analysis, research, and writing to develop and review content for customers
Adhere to editorial publishing schedules and quality standards as required for accuracy and completeness
Maintain and develop legal knowledge, including familiarity with the US civil litigation process and skills training as needed to complete your work and to stay current on legal trends and developments
Demonstrate competence on company-specific systems, including customized editorial systems, necessary to perform your job functions

Have a Bachelor’s of Law degree from an accredited law school or other equivalent, relevant legal training.A self-starter with aptitude for legal research, analysis, and writing.Have a keen eye for detail and established proof-reading skills, and can focus on detail-specific tasks, in addition to being able to pivot your attention to address high priority updates with little notice.Analytical thinker who uses logic and discretion to collaborate with global teammates to solve difficult problems.Decisive with a focus on making quality decisions quickly.Ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and communicate complex legal material.Comfortable with perso
