Senior Server Administrator

Makati City

Role Summary:

Administer and maintain the server infrastructure (on premise, cloud) and support the IT team for resolving level 3 issues. Domain admin authentication and has accountability on all the servers and server infrastructure.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Create, modify and maintain group policies in AD.Provide access to the users based on access matrix. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.Setup Data loss prevention and secure workstation, servers and VM for RTO and WFH setup.Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.Review and modify documentation & suggest modifications wherever applicable.To maintain records as required by internal quality, Internal/External Auditors and Information Security policiesFollow Security and Change Management policies.Guide and mentor junior team members in the same.Read, understand and comply with the information security policies of the organization including relevant processes and procedures.Immediately report any incident of non-compliance to established policies, process and procedures or observed weaknesses in the ISMS.Actively participate in any information security program of the organization and unconditionally cooperate in any information security incident investigation.Provide records (if any) of training attended relevant to information security.Conduct failover test for all critical devices as per the process defined in BCP policySupports IT operations for 365/24/7 on-call and on-site activities.Communicate effectively to local and international stakeholders for all Systems and IT operations related concerns and act as Subject matter expert (SME).Support IT operations for level 1 to level 3 concerns.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Specialization (With at least 3-5 years’ experience in the field below): 

1.     Server Administration (Microsoft Server 2012, 2016, 2019).

Server farms management.Patch ManagementChange ManagementTicket ManagementData center and Infrastructure Management

2.     Group Policies (GPO), Active Directory, IIES, DHCP, DNS, LDAP, Radius, Print Services.

3.     Configure virtualization system technologies:

NutanixCitrix NetscalersVMware ESXi

4.     Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Azure AD, Teams.

5.     Enterprise Anti-virus management.

6.     scripting experience with powershell/shell.

7.     Windows 10/1 OS, IOS and linux/Redhat background.

8.     Working familiarity with networking protocols (HTTPS, TCP/IP, ICMP) and standard network architectures

9.     Back-up

10.  DLP – Data loss prevention

Druva

11.  Preventive Maintenance.

12.  Business Continuity Plan Setup (BCP).

13.  Information Security Management System (ISMS), ISO 9001 and 27001 Compliance.

14.  Client audit and compliance.

15.  IT Operations helpdesk support.

16.  Experience in System integration including CCTV Management and Access control management.

17.  MCSA/MCP certification is a plus

Education and Experience:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related courseMust have at least 5 years’ experience in Server AdministrationMust be amenable to work on a shifting schedule (AM, PM, On-call)Must be amenable to work in Makati
