about the Role:
We are looking for an SEO Writer who will be responsible for looking after our on-sight copy and monitoring the traffic to relevant pages. Coming in as SEO Writer you will be working closely with our Growth team and our Account Management team to produce copy that’s in line with marketing strategies and the needs of the venues on our platform. You’ll be a team player that has a basic understanding of SEO principles. Preferably with experience of writing both B2B and B2C copy.
Your responsibilities:
• Writing relevant and optimised copy for our SEO pages
• Conducting keyword research
• Writing engaging copy for our venue pages
• Using Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor traffic and identify opportunities
• Writing copy for our blog, following the content plan
• Taking part in meetings with the other teams to understand the needs of our business
• Writing ad hoc copy for the website, campaigns, and the blog
• Helping our social media manager with copy when needed
• Working with our PR Consultant to produce press materials
Your qualifications:
• At least 1 year of SEO writing experience
• Strong copywriting skills and experience
• Passionate about providing customers with a great experience
• Are analytical and love working with data
• A creative mindset
• Enjoy working in a fast paced, collaborative environment
• Proven track record of working in cross-functional teams (Sales, Product and Marketing) with a real team player approach
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at one time
• Experience with managing, creating and executing campaigns is a plus
• Commercially-minded with an inquisitive mind
