Job Description
POSITION OBJECTIVEThe Corporate Kronos Administrator is responsible for assisting with all functional aspects of the system administration for the Kronos Time & Attendance application, for all U.S, Canadian and Alfreton, UK . locations. The position is responsible for assisting with all Kronos requests; including any updates to current rules and the set up and development of new rules, for the U.S., Canadian and Alfreton UK hourly union and non union population.This includes maintaining current pay/work rules, accruals, attendance policies. The Corporate Kronos Administrator also conducts semi-annual access audits to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.  The Corporate Kronos Administrator will also assist with all system updates and patch implementation for the Kronos Time & Attendance System for the U.S., Canadian and Alfreton UK. This includes maintaining and testing of all Kronos service packs, making all change requests as needed, the set-up and review of all audit reports.  MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.      Assists in Plant Payroll load process for Hourly and Salaried Employees.Assists Plant HR/Kronos Admin in managing Employee’s TimecardAssists Plant HR/Kronos Admin by monitoring Payroll loads and calculating them correctly.Assists Plant HR/Kronos Admin regarding employee’s timecard calculations2.      Creates Kronos setup based on Policies that Plants are following.Creates Attendance PoliciesCreates Accrual PoliciesCreates Pay Policies for Hourly/Salaried EmployeesCreates Schedule Patterns, Shift Template, and Schedule GroupCreates Hyperfind QueriesCreates GeniesCreates Labor Level Entries/SetsCreates Access Profiles3.      Tests, Implements and Maintains Policy updates requested by the Plants.Creates new or modifies existing attendance policyTests the new/existing attendance policyAdministration of attendance policiesCreating new or modifying an existing accrual policyTesting the new/existing accrual policyConducts Training for Plant Supervisors/Manager for Kronos4.      Test and Maintains the Kronos Interfaces and Service Packs.Monitors Plant Interfaces for Payroll ProcessingCreate new/updates Interfaces based on Plant request5.      Conducts Audit on Kronos changes.Conducts Semi-Annual Audits on Kronos Manager Licenses (June & December)Monitors Employees with Manager licenseMonitors Terminated EmployeesEDUCATIonAn Associate’s degree in Accounting or General Business or Certified Payroll Professional is preferred. EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTSA minimum of 1 year of relevant Kronos time & attendance or any Payroll System experience preferredThe successful candidate must have experience with:·        Kronos Workforce Central, preferably version 8.0 or higher or with any Payroll Systems.·        Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook   DESIRED PERSonAL CHARACTERISTICS1.      Strong analytical skills2.      Excellent organizational skills3.      Strong customer service skills4.      Attention to detail5.      Ability to multi-task6.      Unquestionable ethics and integrity
