We are recruiting for a Software Experience Engineer who will be part of our Academic Technology Team. The role supports the software development teams to become more efficient in their processes and practices and deliver higher quality products.

What will you do in this role?
Working under the supervision of the Head of Software Engineering Practice in the UK, you will undertake a variety of projects designed to improve how we write software, including:
Help build world class CI pipelines, integrating code analysis, testing and code review tools.Develop our deployment pipelines helping us move toward deploying multiple times a day.Help improve out testing capabilities by introducing the ability to run load and performance testing and investigating chaos testing.Helping teams integrate observability tooling into our code across a variety of languages.Automating data collection to help drive informed decision making.
What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?
Ideally you would be an experienced software developer who is passionate about and can demonstrate a history of improving how you and your team develop software.
