Job Description

Duty 1: Creative Development

Creates new marketing communication materials from customer specification/requirements to effectively represent the products, services, brands and/or organization to customers and prospects using the knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts using computer based design softwarePerforms basic and advance graphics/multimedia editing with mix media (ie. graphic enhancement, layout, adding, change file format etc)Creates complex and responsive designs/templates for digital assets used in different media platforms i.e. DPS, vectorsPerforms foreign language translation of multimedia assetsPerforms    internal   quality check     and    recommends improvement on multimedia/graphic requests (Story Board)Maintains the photo library, video logs and other design assetsMaintains a portfolio for reference of prospective clientsPerforms internal quality check on multimedia/graphic requests (Standard/Checklist)

Duty 2: Technical Writing

Edits documents (e.g. Operating Manuals, Bulletins, Product Data Sheets, Quick Installation Guides, Proven Results, etc.), writings, and illustrations based on the organization’s product information and specification provided by product experts and engineers using the standard document templates.Edits and lay outs translated documents to align with the English documentsMaintains the photo library, logos, drawings and other design assetsChecks and validates Emerson Branding concepts and design for consistency for both internal and external customersPerforms internal quality check on technical documents requests. (Standard/Checklist)Edits minor article write-up for sales and marketing collateralCoordinates with web admin in uploading and posting of documents to Emerson site

Duty 3: System Support & Maintenance

Implements the basic change request (document uploads, library creation, account creation, banner update, meta- tagging, simple typography, price updates)Schedules and approves for web posting and publishing (Schedules the web posting of technical documents; Approves publishing of web pages)Performs testing of updated module or functionalityPerforms testing of published web contentPerforms internal quality checks on updated module or functionality and recommends changes to the requestTroubleshoots minor bugs or known defects or any other easy requests (UI fixes, raw data requests)Coordinates with country/world area content reviewers on content approval and publishingCoordinates with cross-functional groups in executing translation projectsGathers requirements and approvals neededMonitors the progress of all transactions

Duty 4: Marketing Automation

Creates simple designs/templates for digital assets such as (emails, landing pages, forms and segments) used in different media platformsPerforms audit of marketing automation/campaign assets (email, landing pages, forms, campaign canvas, segment), analyze, and recommends improvements to ensure compliance to standard campaign architectureCreates web links for tracking campaign metrics in EloquaSchedules marketing automation program for activationMonitors the progress of all transactions

Duty 5: Project Execution

Project Initiation

Assists project owner in gathering, analyzing and clarifying customer requirements; uses technical knowledge to gauge complexity of the requestAttends scope reviews to learn what the project request is all about

Project Planning

Leads project milestone and gate reviewsCreates project scope and timeline for small projectsProvides own work estimates, negotiate turnaround time within the team and informs the project lead on changesCreates proposals using standard project templates and tools for projectsIn case of differences, negotiate with client

Project Execution

Develops simple modules, prototypes or mock-ups

Duty 6: Mailbox Management

Logs and updates project request form for reporting purposesMonitors incoming mails from shared mailbox

Duty 7: Training and Development

Adapts training syllabi, course outlines, lesson plans and content of existing materials (e.g. presentations, evaluation tools, etc.) for graphics/multimedia training courses for specific audience/scenarioConducts basic/overview/ awareness training

Duty 8: Metrics, Reporting and Analytics

Creates dynamic reports based on standard templatesCoordinates and validates with stakeholders on reporting requirements (output quality metrics).Provides status updates on report development, raise issues encountered and adjust timeline as appropriate.Generate, analyze, create report/dashboard from different sources and submit to requestor

Duty 9: Continuous Improvement and Innovation

Identifies continuous improvement project ideas.Maps processes as part of the procedure documentation

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications Arts, Marketing Communications or equivalent

Job Related Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience in graphic/multimedia design using computer aided software in creative media agency or equal capacity and creation of marketing collaterals (brochures, flyers, video, banner ads, etc.)

Specific Knowledge:

Working knowledge on print output and production interfaceProficient in design software products (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, et.al.) and other graphics design applicationsBasic MS Word, PowerPoint working knowledge
