JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Setups, maintains and monitor of high availability of servers on premise and in cloud platformsClosely work with development team in setting up testing environments, review of test plans and testcases, investigation of technical issues raisedProvide capacity planning of server hardware resourcesEnsure all server issues are addressed within a service level agreement (SLA)Suggests and implements process and systems improvementWork closely with the network and security team on company security policyCreates and monitors backup strategyImplement and oversee infrastructure automation and configuration management as appropriateProvides patch management on serversUnderstands how to leverage observability tools (e.g. Dynatrace) and log aggregation (e.g. ELK) forperformance management and root cause analysis

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, software engineering At least 3 years of relevant experienceOne or more of the following certifications:-RHCSA-CKA-Linux+ CompTIAStrong knowledge on different variants of Linux and Unix OS (e.g. RHEL, Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu)Expert in Apache, Samba, DNS, DHCP, LVM, Bash scripts, Cron, Postfix, Squid and IPTablesExperience with Virtualization Technologies (i.e., VMware) and container technologies (i.e.,Kubernates) is highly preferredFamiliar in compiling modules, drivers and kernel patches
