criptS Asia is looking for people with experience editing English business trans
cripts who are available to work during flexible business hours (work is available at various times of day).The job is a co
ntract position, with seaso
nal fluctuations in work availability. You will be paid for each trans
cript you complete, on a per-minute basis. Peak demand occurs in late January-March, late April/May, August/early September, and late October/November.Our rate is USD12 for the first 20 audio minutes, with an incremental rate of USD0.5/minute after the first 20 minutes. Our average event length is 55 minutes, for which the compensation would be USD29.5. You should expect to aim for a goal of an average of 2.5 hours when completing edits, though file length can affect this.s

Responsibilities
Proofread and edit translated and/or transcribed English language versions of local language investor event trans
cripts and reports within Microsoft Word to bring them to a US English standard, while adhering to our company's style.Verify im
portant co
ntent within trans
cripts, including but not limited to, speaker names, company and product names, etc.Input and check existing data within our o
nline portal, relating to the trans
cripts you edit.Swap or insert event slide images within trans
cripts, according to region-specific requirements.The final product is time sensitive, so editors will need to work efficiently and be able to meet deadlines, while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Skills and Qualifications
4-year college degree or equivalent experience.Experience editing English docu
ments, preferably in a business/finance context.Experience editing English docu
ments translated from East Asian and/or Southeast Asian languages is a plus. Financial trans
cription experience is a plus.Applicants will need to pass s
criptS Asia’s editing qualification test and one practice event.Excellent written English and general communication skills.Microsoft Word software and the ability to proficiently use it.Proficiency with e-mail and o
nline applications.Ability to apply and respond well to provided quality/style feedback.Ability to efficiently work independently.
