Job Description
Strategize angle/slant and relevant stories for the products and the companyCraft and write relevant stories for press releases through print, online new portal, broadcast and digital media;Handle, create content of social media networking services (SNS) or any digital platform;Craft and write content for internal/external publications and correspondence including employee newletters, magazines, letters, etc.Conduct face-to-face and/or online/telephone interviews to gather research and quotes used to develop PR materials, new releases, feature articles, etc.Cover events and relevant activities to gather first hand information for the development of stories;Edit content or correspondences contributed by other company representatives;Create and write speeches for company representatives such as CEO, COO, etc;Seek publicity opportunities and submit award entries;Create weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual calendar of articles for seeding;Create powerpoint presentation of proposed angles for visual purposes;Coordinate with blogger and media partners for PR initiatives;Day to day alignment with PR Head when deemed necessary;Request job order for article visuals and SNS postings;JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor degree in Journalism, Marketing, Mass Communications and/or equivalent;Has experience with media and public relations;Experience PR campaigns, media management, social media management and/or online communities;Excellent writing, oral presentation and communication skills;Basic knowledge of MS Office;Knows basic editing (preferred but not required);Strong presence of mind and analytical skills;Keen attention to detail;Can work in fast-paced environment;Willing to work on-site in Ermita Manila
