COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
Job Summary
The Communications Officer will assist PBSP and the Corporate Affairs Unit (CAU) in developing and implementing institutional and program-related communication plans and strategies to ensure PBSP’s brand visibility and reputation. He/She will support units in delivering communication needs and represent CAU and/or PBSP in activities pertinent to the unit’s area of expertise.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Writing and Content Creation
Oversee the conceptualization, development, production, and dissemination of institutio
nal materials such as the Annual Report, magazine, and newsletterWrite articles, reports, speeches and talking points of PBSP executives and trusteesCo
nceptualize and develop campaign and fundraising materialsInterview partners, members, and beneficiaries for feature articles, press releases, and institutio
nal and program videos
Social Media and Website Management
Maintain social media platforms and website of PBSP Develop mo
nthly co
ntent calendars for social media platformsCoordinate with co
ncerned units/staff to ensure regular updates of PBSP projects and programs on social media platforms and website
Media Relations
Coordinate with media outfits for press release publication and requests for media coverageAssist media during events, field coverage and coordinate interviews with PBSP executives, staff, partners, and beneficiariesPrepare media advisories, invites, news briefs, and press kits
Event Management
Oversee the conceptualization, planning, and execution of the Annual Membership Meeting and coordinate and mo
