We're looking for a smart and hard working person to join our team of 30+ passionate staff building the future of insurance technology. The role represents a great opportunity for someone wanting to hone their skills as a tester and develop their career. You will receive training and mentoring with a fully mapped out learning program and learning hours allocated each week.

What you'll be doing:

Create and design test plans to suit projects, products, software, and integrationsProvide estimates, costings, and budgets for testing in accordance with a defined test plan or scope documentTest and check developers work to ensure a high-quality result, and so as not to waste the time of the project manager unnecessarilyPerform pre and post-deployment testingReview pre and post-launch activities to ensure they are completed to standards.Perform the appropriate testing thoroughly, and in accordance with your test planWrite acceptance tests and test scripts to create automatic tests that can be run and re-run to validate that bugs are not introduced into existing softwareWork with the Scrum Master or Project Manager to prioritize defects and include their resolution in sprints and work scheduleProvide inbound feedback (ranging from simple steps to comprehensive suggested feature specification) to development teams based on feedback and issues from customersManaging expectations about progress and deadlines to the project manager to ensure that the relevant stakeholders are kept up-to-date and never let downProduce testing audit reportsCreate logs to document testing phases and defectsStay well educated around software development best practices; User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.

What we need you to have:

Excellent Written and Spoken EnglishAt least 1 year working in a Testing / Quality Engineering roleAt least 1 year working with automated testing toolsDeep understanding of software technology and implementation practicesQuiet and distraction-free workspaceModern and reliable computer with quality microphone, headset and webcam for clear communicationFast and reliable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbit upload speed)Comfortable using time tracking software (Time Doctor)Must be currently residing in the PhilippinesAvailable to work from 7am to 4pm PH time (1 hour of breaks).
