Job Description

We are expanding our team in Europe in the Banking and Financial Services industry and we are currently hiring generic domains consultants with previous experience in the Banking sector projects and who like to be part of our growth and success in this exciting journey in the Continental Europe region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Point of Contact for all customer discussions/meetings Plans/manages large IT projects to meet specific objectives or goalsProvides leadership for the project team and key interfaces to the project or programManage stakeholder expectations through clear and transparent communications on progress, status, risks, issues, dependencies, and their impacts on deliverables/milestonesIndependent, able to take decision, explore alternatives to continue progress, while keeping everyone informed of the choices and consequencesWorks on problems/tasks in delivery of a specific product or serviceWork with internal as well as customer team to identify tasks, determine dependencies, identify, and assign specific resources, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members, and create/track the project scheduleAssess risk and identify issuesMonitor progress against scheduleCoordinate resources with other functionsReview user and technical requirements for completeness and clarifyRequires through knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical workProvide solutions to difficult problemsProtect the team from external influences and distractions - speak up on behalf of the team when there are impediments to success

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree graduate in Engineering or related coursesHas managed large banking projectsShould have experience in Implementing/managing a platform (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)Experience with Managed services construct and bank operations will be an added plus.Experience of T24 core banking implementation - good to have15+ years´ total experience in similar project management rolesProven track record in delivering complex projectsExperience managing simultaneous cross functional international teams & geographical locationsUsed to work an offshore/onsite model A good mix experience managing Waterfall and Agile-scrum projectsExperience with project lifecycles, scheduling, risk management and conflict resolution techniquesProgram/Project management certification (PgMP, PMP…) will be consideredAbility to measure the health of the projects by using appropriate metricsAmenable to work onsite on company and client locationAmenable to travel occasionally near shore or India on business or project demand
