Software Developer (.NET/VB)

The developer will be the one in-charge of any development including issues and enhancement for F&A Clients. He/she will also act as Level 3 support in case there are issues encountered by Clients.

Responsibilities:

Delivering/supporting product or project requirementsResponsible for developing, testing and supporting F&A Clients.Updating, debugging, enhancing and optimizing existing software and other applications.Transforming software designs and specifications into high functioning codes in the appropriate language.Learning opportunities for bug fixing strategies, system knowledge, and development skills.Assists in the analysis of modifications to existing software programs.Maintain program libraries and assist in the maintenance of users' manuals, or technical documentationInstall and test routine software and assist users with procedural or minor technical problems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.At least 2-3 years of .NET/VB Programming Experience. POS experience is a plus.Proficient in VB, with a good knowledge of its ecosystemsFamiliarity with the .NET frameworks (all versions/latest version)Strong understanding of object-oriented programmingSkill for writing reusable VB librariesFamiliar with various design and architectural patternsKnowledge of concurrency patterns in VBKnowledgeable with Microsoft SQL ServerBasic knowledge on Database Programming SQL Server, PHP, XAMPP, JAVA-scriptKnowledge and experience with REST API requests/responsesExperience in OPOS Devices Programming
