Job Description

OVERVIEW

As a Senior Content Marketing Specialist, you’ll be involved with the strategy, planning, and project management for all content-related projects, ensuring their alignment with digital marketing and SEO goals. This includes developing both written and multimedia content and collaborating with internal and external content producers to garner the attention of our target audiences, expand the organization’s digital footprint, and grow awareness, subscribers, and leads.

You think customer-first when you build content for digital experiences, advertising, search, social media marketing, and more. You love to test, optimize, and try new tactics! To be successful in this role, you should have experience in content marketing for b2b tech companies or similar industries.

Our ideal candidate has been leading content strategy and efforts at a high scale and pace. You thrive in the fast-paced world of publishing and enjoy researching and learning about new topics regularly. You also have a deep understanding of how SEO impacts organic traffic and are a master at weaving keywords into a piece of content without compromising its integrity.

You'll work closely with the global content and communications team to strategically plan the execution of detailed content for articles, resources, social media, and brand campaigns while bringing fresh ideas to the table.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Lead the development and management of a rich content calendar in line with the content strategy, blog strategy, and content amplification approach to attract a qualified audience to our owned properties.

·        Lead content production projects, including agency and freelance writer management, planning, creation, legal and compliance approvals, distribution, and maintenance. Contribute to the development of content.

·        Execute SEO tactics, in collaboration with the digital marketing team, including consistent use of targeted keywords in content and metadata, and outreach efforts for websites to gain backlinks to relevant content to support organic lead generation efforts and develops a network of go-to-influencers to build brand awareness.

·        Contribute to audience development and recommends social media strategy for the company, growing relevant audiences and running social promotions to build the upper funnel and drive consistent and relevant traffic from social channels.

·        Provide direction to writers, editors, and internal reviewers to ensure brand tone, message and style represent brand voice, adhere to brand guidelines, and follow SEO and content best practices.

·        evaluate and interpret data, like Google Analytics, social platform data, or search trends to inform and assess message effectiveness and evolve the content strategy. Develop goal-based KPIs for content initiatives and report on performance.

·        Develops Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) testing strategies for the Blog and related content to test CTAs and gated vs non-gated content, in order to meet website KPIs and objectives such as increasing social shares, and growing content engagement.

·        Create exciting content. Lots of it. Use your stellar writing skills to create compelling pieces that educate and excite our audience. Each piece of content should serve a purpose, and fit the company brand and tone.

·        Be data-driven. Use relevant data to create compelling narratives and reports. Take a data driven approach when evaluating the success of our content strategy.

·        Write, edit and deliver content that's thought-provoking, easy to understand, and on-brand while implementing SEO best practices.

·        Research and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our industry and our core services and how to create content that supports the customer journey while implementing SEO strategies.

·        Work with the growth team & creatives to develop eye-catching, traffic-boosting articles that stray from the status quo.

·        Optimize and edit older content for consistency, grammar, and SEO improvements.

·        Stay current with SEO industry trends and algorithm development to ensure SEO best practices are being followed

·        Question the status quo. Constantly exploring and experimenting with new channels and media formats. Have a pulse on emerging marketing trends and be willing to leverage consumer marketing tactics.

·        Project management. Collaborate with design, communications, and creative teams to bring messaging to life through a variety of media. Prepare, manage and adhere to project-specific timelines.

·        Collaborate with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Sales, and department leaders to develop a content roadmap that maps to strategic goals, target personas, and phases of the buyer’s journey.

·        Implement marketing program best practice strategies through testing and implementation of market trends.

·        Maintain current knowledge in market trends, buyer needs, and marketing strategy and tactics

QUALIFICATIONS

·        Proven at least 4+ years of experience writing in the B2B space with a diverse portfolio of work.

·        Experience working in B2B technology

·        Be a superb writer and editor who can provide compelling copy for all marketing projects, whether it’s a podcast script, an article, or an outbound email.

·        Diverse skill set: Blogs, videos, articles, white papers, webinars, script writing, be able to bridge left-brain and right-brain thinking.

·        Project management – the ability to balance multiple projects at once is key.

·        Willingness to experiment with new mediums, channels, and projects.

·        Previous experience with SEO software and research tools, ideally SEMRush, BuzzSumo, AHREFs

·        Previous experience with PPC software and research tools, ideally Google Ads 360

·        Previous experience with social media management tools, ideally linkedIn, Campaign manager, Facebook ads, or similar tools

·        Strong analytical skills and can effectively analyze marketing data

·        Takes ownership of multiple initiatives with a strong sense of accountability

·        HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite hands-on experience is an advantage

·        Works well under pressure, can meet deadlines, and make sound decisions independently

·        Strong commitment to the customer experience

·        A keen eye for detail, obsessive with grammar and language, and deliver copy ready for publishing on or before a deadline.

·        Open to constructive feedback and determined to meet company expectations for copywriting projects

·        Office in BGC, Taguig

·        Shift: 2PM-11PM for the first 3 months; 9AM-6PM after (day shift)
