JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible in performing support to other departments for operational concerns through relationship building with government stakeholders traversing the alignment, direct coordination with local government entities, and approval and realization of agreements/understandings, and local ordinances and resolutions.
Facilitates coordination meetings between the company and government stakeholders for mutual resolution of issues and concerns in the locality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduate of a 4-year communication, political science, or any related course.Technical skills: Knowledgeable in issue mitigation, enviro
nment scanning, alliance building, project management, databa
se building, preparation of reports/briefing materials/minutes, written and oral communication, research and presentation skills.Other characteristics: Strong attention to detail; Ability to work without supervision; Ability to handle co
nfidential information; Ability to multi-task and diligent in on-time delivery of projects.Experience: Five years of experience in government relations and in relationship-building with external stakeholders, including two years of lead or supervisory experience.
