This position is responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts. Oversee purchasing activities, from providing quotations, processing invoices, processing purchase orders, lodging orders and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality.The IT Procurement Associate's responsibilities include providing guidelines to requesting parties on the proper procurement process, maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, processing purchases, and maintaining accurate records.IT Procurement and Asset Management Associate will act as the central point of contact for all IT requirements related to:Data entry of asset details in EAMS.Record all asset movement in EAMS and comply to the defined process.Responsible to maintain IT assets details accuracy and up to date in EAMS.Ensure compliance in IT assets deployment and recovery process. Ensure high availability of Asset documents for audit and reporting purposes.Work closely with Sr IT Procurement in delivering Client’s asset requirement.Assist in sourcing quotation/proposal that fits the requirement.Request possible options from vendor if required.Seek recommendation from Sr. ITPAO or ITPRAM Manager should requirement are not readily available, with complexity and requires technical knowledge.Responsible in creating a quotation to be shared with IT Transition, CXM, CNA or to requester from other division.Will advise concerning bodies if the request is subject for cost recovery.Monitor orders until delivered.Compliance and contributes to Continual Improvement of IT Procurement Policies and processes.Work closely with Service Desk Team for IT equipment use in production in all sites.Monitor stocks level in each site.Maintain stocks tracker are up to date.Responsible in monitoring stock replenishment request per site until fulfilled.Monitor and maintain asset warranty records up to date.Ensure to collect required documents from vendor/leasing partners to be submitted to finance.Maintain trackers of all purchases and its detail.Ensure all vendor details are up to date.Ensure stocks availability is high.Assist in processing Infrastructure requirement requested by ITSC Division.Assist in claiming and monitoring assets warranty as needed.Assist Regulatory team during PEZA inspection.Provide reports upon request.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, MIS or similar program; or equivalent work experienceMust have at least 1 to 2 years’  experience  in IT Procurement and Asset Management.Must have experience in the procurement of IT Assets (Hardware, Software, Telco, etc.)ITIL experience and qualification would be an advantageStrong negotiation and analytical skills
