Job Description

ROLE

The Multimedia Specialist serves as the primary photographer and videographer for the creation of all company marketing including but not limited to promotional videos, advertising campaigns, new business and digital media requirements. The Multimedia Specialist supports the team in capturing high-quality, creative images and videos for branding and content development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for capturing high-quality campaign content both short and long form video formats.Responsible for capturing all product content including but not limited to eyewear, employee, and store.Responsible for capturing content for advertising campaigns.Responsible for all photographic and video content from start to finish including capturing content and editing for the needs of output.Responsible for safekeeping all company-owned photo and video equipment at the studio.To curate a strong gallery of aspirational images and video content that will be used to reflect the brand in marketing and press.Play a key role in assisting to shape the visual storyline of content touchpoints while assisting to maintain the brands’ digital asset library.Assisting the marketing and press team with daily asset management and obtaining all creative and marketing objectives.Coordinate all activities and materials supporting each photographic and video shoot project.To work with clearly detailed content briefs provided as well as creating content briefs.Collaborate with other Designers in conceptualizing and ideation.Secure and archive permissions for use of photo images for individuals.Must have a commitment to deadlines and be open to work on location shoots for extended hours.Have a sound knowledge of the evolving nature of social media.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of a 4-year course like BA in Filmmaking, Fine Arts, Multi-Media Arts, or any Design and Arts related course.With a least 2 years of related work experience of a related industry of notable size, complexity, and significance.Excellent knowledge of photography and videography within the digital domain.Up to date with trends in photography, filmmaking, animation and design.Detail-oriented with a good eye for overall output.Is a fresh thinker who embraces challenges and new methods of thinking.Must have good communication and people skills.Ability to multitask while showing commitment to detail.Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong communications skills.Ability to work well independently but also work alongside team members.Having your own equipment is an advantage.Proficiency in Mac OSX and Windows and experience with industry-standard editing tools and asset management software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier, After Effects, Final Cut Pro.Must have an interest in the fashion/eyewear industryMust display a desire to grow within the company and see this as a long-term position.
