Web API Back-End Developer (Work-from-home until further notice)

Job Responsibilities:

Perform backend API development, bug fixing, unit, SIT and load testing.Perform peer code reviews.Participate in security review demo, KT to Ops, pre-prod deployment activities for the accomplished tasks.Maintain API documentation (API specs, sequence diagram, volume test results).Coordinate with product owners, testers and DevOps team for project requirements gathering and deployment request activitiesParticipate in daily virtual meetings and sprint related activities

Job Qualifications:

Strong experience developing apps using Java 8, preferably using Spring Boot framework.Strong experience developing apps using Node.jsStrong experience in developing and consuming RESTful web services.Experience with at least 1 DB technology (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB).3+ years of building large scale internet services /platform / backend development.Knowledge in unit testing using at least one of these frameworks (Jest, Mocha, JUnit).Experience with caching technologies (Redis, Memcache).Experience with Amazon Web Services or comparable (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, ElastiCache Redis).Knowledge of web frontend development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, ReactJS, jQuery) is a plus.  Has experience in working with a team composed of 3 or more members.
