JOB SUMMARY
The Analyst Programmer works with business partners to identify their requirements, and then designs and develops an application based on approved solutions designs. He/she will be working on projects that may span a broad range of applications.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project planning
1. Participates in project planning processes.
2. May serve as a liaison between client partners, IT and vendors to provide technical solutions that addresses user needs.
Business Requirements
3. Assists in the gathering of business requirements.
4. May also write functional specifications.
Design.
5. Creates technical design specifications.
Development and Deployment.
6. Develops or builds IT solutions to meet business requirements.
7. Installs and configures solutions.
8. Translates business and technical requirements into test cases, test scenarios, and scripts.
9. Develops and/or implements reusable components.
10. Assists with the identification, creation, and maintenance of test data.
11. Performs script maintenance and updates due to changes in requirements or implementations.
12. Assists in the setup and maintenance of test environments.
13. Conducts program/system testing.
14. May deploy new modules, upgrades, and fixes to the production environment.
15. Provides technical assistance and system trainings to users.
Production Support.
16. Provides on-call support and resolution of day-to-day system related problems.
MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Monitors IT equipment and ensures that all are working properly.
2. Coordinates interface relationship with concerned units, sections or departments regarding IT functions.
3. Provides user supports to existing Software productivity tools – office suites such as Microsoft Office and Open Office software, AutoCAD, Photoshop and other desktop applications used by users.
4. Carries out other duties which may reasonably be required by the IT Manager from time to time in the course of the Company’s business and for which the Analyst Programmer is qualified or has received adequate training or instruction.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
A. AGE

B. EDUCATION
:Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and Information Technology.
C. EXPERIENCE
:At least one (1) year experience in programming using the following programming languages: Visual Basic, Java, ASP.net, PHP, C, C++, VB.net, JAVA script, CSS, JQuery and Ajax, ABAP.
At least one (1) year experience in any of the following database platforms: MSSQL, MySQL.
At least one (1) year experience in SDLC
At least one (1) year working experience using Crystal Reports, stored procedures, IIS web service.
