The Senior Software Developer will perform software development, systems integration, and support for both Windows and Web-based applications with a focus on quality. This includes any technical activities associated with meeting client expectations. You will be coordinating and communicating across disciplines and departments.
SOME OF WHAT YOU WILL DO:
· Design and develop Windows and web-based software applications using industry best practices including OO design principles, Test Driven Development, design patterns, security, and performance.
· Adhere to standardized SDLC practices including source control, release planning, and implementation.
· Participate in requirement/implementation meetings with clients (internal and external) to understand the business requirements.
· Participate in design/planning sessions and work various 24/7 on-call support rotations.
· Provide end-user hardware and software support, stay up to date with Carenet technology and ensure the compliance to enterprise security policy.
· Develop and maintain continuous integration and automated deployment processes
· Participate in process improvement; recommend changes in policies and procedures
· Support and develop other team members by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science from a four-year college or university with at least five years of experience developing applications using .Net technology.
- Experience preferred in the areas of software development, web application architecture, service oriented architecture, and network architecture.
