Job Description

BRIEF

2TradeAsia (Yapster e-Trade, Inc.), the online arm of F.Yap Securities, Inc., is the pioneer of online stocks investing in the Philippines since 2000. Stocks investing is one of the fastest, most accessible & secure way for ordinary individuals to grow their money and beat inflation, but with less than 1% of the Philippine population currently investing in stocks, conveying its complexity in a layman way is key to deliver our service’s relevance across retail audiences.

In line with this mission, we are looking for a Digital Marketing Trainee to join our team. You will be handling the brand’s digital assets, which includes both content creation and client servicing, with direction and guidance from a Marketing Strategist / Head of Marketing.

If you’re a tech-savvy artist with good communication skills and the willingness to learn, we would like to meet you. For this position, you should be creative, analytical, flexible and collaborative. Experience in stocks investing is welcome, but not necessary, as this is something we can teach you when you join our team.

SCOPE OF WORK / ROLES

- Creative output: Create, edit, publish and share daily/weekly/monthly content (original text, images, GIFs, video or HTML) for the company’s digital assets (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) with intent to promote brand awareness and conversion

- Ads Boosting: Publish creative output as ads with boosting to maximize awareness while ensuring resources are used efficiently based on prevailing social media algorithms

- Insights & Analytics: Measure and analyze the success of every social media campaign using SEOs, marketing insights and other analytics and then acting on the information

- Competitor Analysis & Best Practices: Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, as well as monitoring of competitor strategies

- Client servicing: Be on standby when there are queries on social media, and engage with these clients in a friendly and respectful way

QUALIFICATIONS

-At least 1 year experience in Marketing/Advertising/Publicity related tasks

- Graduate of any Marketing / Advertising-related degree (BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations)

- Background knowledge on Business / Finance / Economics is preferred, but not necessary

- Experience in creating videos is preferred, but not necessary

- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels

- Proficient in digital art tools such as Canva, Sai, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, etc. Sample Portfolio will be required in the interview

- Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound

- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge

- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented, with good organizational ability

- Experience in stocks investing welcome, but not required

- Willing to work on-site
