SUMMARYThe HR Associate performs varied administrative and specialized tasks in support of the day-to-day administration of the company’s employee benefit programs, provides administrative support in and assists employees with various benefit related issues, concerns or requests for service in accordance with established policies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs extensive service to employees regarding their company and government benefits, including administration, answering inquiries, performing research, processing, approving, providing feedback and responding to employee questions (whether through phone, email, face to face or helpdesk). Assist employees in communicating with third party administrators to ensure reasonable responses to employee concerns and accuracy in the application of policy. Coordinate, participate and support various benefits related projects in support of benefits administration and provide administrative support when needed. Perform a variety of administrative and complex benefit related work, to include but not limited to, maintaining a variety of files and filing systems to include employee records for maintaining benefits related forms and documents Prepare and disseminate written and verbal information and performs critical role in implementing the company wide health and wellness program such as insurance and health plans, wellness events and company sponsored activities. Administers monetary company rewards. Validates yearly enrollment of third-party insurance. Endorsement of Company loans and Study Assistance. Liaises with government agencies to ensure statutory compliance and submission of Maternity and Sickness Benefit Reimbursement. Perform other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES➢ NoneQUALIFICATIONS Proficient with spreadsheets and Microsoft office applications Good understanding of operations and support groups in Customer Contact CentersEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE University degree or the equivalent At least 1 year related experience in a HR position particularly in government mandated benefits and healthcare. Experience in working with people on different levels, with proven excellent customer service skillsLANGUAGE SKILLS➢ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; follows oral and written instructions; maintain a high level of confidentiality.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS➢ Ability to calculate basic mathematical functions..REASonING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
