The Senior Manager for People Operations works under direct supervision of the General Manager, Director of Development Operations, CEO/President and Vice President/Chief Technology Officer (VP/CTO). This is a strategic role that leads all company initiatives relating to culture and process development, which focuses on developing great employee experience, ensuring maximum efficiency, and building the People Operations team.
SCOPE:
The role required a high degree of self sufficiency but enjoys working with a supportive team across departments. This role is responsible for creating and implementing processes that ultimately aligns the company to industry-recognized best practices, as well as drive its culture. He/she should be able to quickly recognize areas that need improvement and rally a team to collaborate on the best approach. He/she must dedicate herself in developing programs to ensure that the company provides the best employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. This is a generalist role that touches on several areas simultaneously, including compensation and benefits, people management, performance management, and organizational optimization.
As the People Operations Manager, he/she should be able to apply extensive knowledge of process management as well as drive continuous improvement in order to meet the company’s objectives. He/she regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure that objectives are met.
