se to ensure costs are up to date.Studies specifications to assist the operations team in planning procedures for co
nstruction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.Researches co
nstruction docu
ments and analyzes specifications to determine estimated costs.Assures that self-performed estimates comply with the requirements of the overall co
nstruction co
ntract with the Owner.Understands how to create proper bid packages and works with the design team on the information required in each package to assure complete bids and giving the field team the right information needed to start co
nstruction or maintain the project schedule.
Qualifications
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, Co
nstruction Management or equivalent field experience.Minimum of three (3) years commercial co
nstruction experience with a minimum of three (3) years of estimating experience.Advanced project estimator skills that include performing engineering calculations, being co
nversant in engineering nomenclature to effectively communicate with Application Engineers, Product Managers, Project Managers, Engineering and vendorsStrong analytical skillsExcellent communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to read, understand and organize co
