QUANTITY SURVEYOR
ENDEC INC. is a Philippines-registered company with over 10 years of experience in providing International Standard Engineering Consulting and Design Services, as well as Procurement, Project, and Construction Management. With our company’s quantum expansion and business growth, we are looking for a highly decisive, critical thinker, detail attentive, and can multi-task QUANTITY SURVEYOR who will be responsible to collects and analyzing data to estimate the time, cost, and materials required to deliver a project, product, and service.
TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for identifying factors affecting costs, such as production rate, production time, materials, and labor.
· Responsible for analyzing construction plans, drawings, and technical documents to prepare estimates.
· Recommend ways to reduce costs.
· Perform research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production rate, etc.
· Use software for data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
· Work with the Procurement Team on Bill of Quantities, tender, and contract documents.
· Maintain records of estimated and actual costs.
· Consult with clients, vendors, engineers, architects, and contractors to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
· Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments on estimates.
· Prepare and issue certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.
· Analyze progress and write detailed reports.
· Provide consultation on planning (schedules, manpower needs etc.)
· Monitor and keep track of project progress and are responsible for measuring and evaluating variations in the work during the contract, for the agreement of interim payments, and the final account
· Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
· Licensed Engineer
· With a background in MEPF
· Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar
· Proven experience as a quantity surveyor/estimator or with a similar position with at least 3 years of experience
· Familiarity with financial and project management principles
· Proficient in Plan swift, Bluebeam, and other estimating, costing tools, and software
· Knowledge of the construction industry
· In-depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas
· Must be willing to work in Muntinlupa City
· Must be willing to start ASAP
